Mr. Samuel Becker, the man who was awarded the 1948 Binney Memorial Medal for the bravest act in support of the law, the medal was awarded to mr becker after he chased a man with a revolver who had only moments earlier used the same revolver on another human being
Miss Rose Heilborn, along with Mrs. Helena Normanton were the first women to be enroled on the new K.C's called within the bar at the Law Courts on April 26th, Miss Heilborn and Mrs. Normanton wore full-bottemed wigs, a lace stock and lace ruffles in there sleeves.
