- November 15th - German currency worthless; cost of loaf
was 200 Billion marks, children used bundles of Mark notes as building blocks
and paper Marks generally were sold to waste paper merchants
- Dr FG Banting discovers Insulin as a treatment of Diabetics
- Stanley Baldwin becomes Prime Minister
- Calvin Coolidge becomes 30th US president after the death
of Harding
