promised more than it offered. it is a 14 page item devoted to what was
described as “the oldest portion of our Colonial. Empire”
(i.e. the West Indies, Bermuda, the Bahamas and British Guiana) with an
emphasis on their tourist attractions and natural resources. The lack
of colour and its subsidiary position before the title page disappoint
the searcher for the exotic or unusual.
The special nature of the magazine is printed on the normal advertising
wrapper. It is issue number 5085, vol. 189, pages 531-603, measuring 37
x 26 cm and priced at one shilling.
