Henry of Battenberg, entitled
The Marriage of Princess Beatrice

(Appendix List No. 13) The marriage took place at Whippingham
Church, near Osborne
House, Isle of Wight on July 23rd. This issue contains portraits of
the bride, bridegroom and bridesmaids, views of Osborne, Whippingham and
Heiligenberg,
near Darmstadt (the
home of the bridegroom) as well as illustrations of the bridal dress,
jewels and wedding gifts. The letterpress contains full historical and
biographical details of the bridal pair. It was a weekly issue (no. 2415,
vol. 87, pages 98-120, measuring 30 x 42 cm and priced at sixpence). next
